This is part of a product that has been commissioned by Össur Ltd®. It is not possible to discuss the concept of whole product which is currently under development due to patent laws surrounding the design development .
This series of photographs shows the process of realising the “patient patch” element of the design and takes one through a short case study from concept drawing to a pre-production working prototype.
The first slide shows us how we received the concept drawing from our client. Slide 2 shows the first working prototype. Slides 3, 4 and 5 show the CAD drawings that we produced for our client and slides 6 and 7 show the finished totally functional rapid prototype which we used with our client before the product was put into production.
