Logicator Software

Control systems are created as flowcharts by dragging commands onto the screen and drawing lines between them. Command instructions are set by simple mouse clicks. The flow of control is highlighted as the program runs. Logicator is ideal for developing control and measurement systems with Smart Box. Drawing the program on screen clarifies the logic of the control system, especially the use of repeat loops and sub-procedures. Logicator’s Graph window provides a live graph of readings from analogue sensors connected to Smart Box and in Soft Systems. Graphs can be saved and printed; data can be exported to a spreadsheet.

Smart Box provides:

• 8 Digital Outputs to power 5 volt devices such as bulbs, buzzers and motors.
• 4 Motor Drives specially configured to allow forward/reverse operation and speed control of low voltage motors independently of the Digital Outputs.

The voltage available at each of the 4 Motor Outputs is switchable from 6 to 9 or 12 volts. Voltage is switched safely and securely from within the software.

• 8 Digital Sensor inputs for detection of open or closed switching devices.
• 4 Analogue Sensor inputs for connection of Smart Sensors or other analogue sensors through the User Adaptor.
